My name is Jeffrey Chipman.
I'm a web developer from Nova Scotia, Canada. ⚓
I have a passion for taking ideas and bringing them to life on a screen.
I began self-learning web development a little over eight years ago as a hobby, before taking the next step in my education by studying Web Programming at NSCC. Since that time, I have worked on growing and refining my skillset, whether on the job, or as a hobby in my spare time.
I enjoy creating responsive, aesthetically pleasing websites that not only look good, but feel good as well.
I can take your design or vision and turn it into a fully functioning website.
Some of my skills include:
I was responsible for designing and developing the website for Red Vox, a band from New York. The website was built using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JQuery. I also designed, developed, and implemented a custom album and track list widget that features dynamically generated content via JSON.
I was responsible for refreshing and redesigning the website for Breton Smartek, which was built using WordPress and Elementor. I created re-usable page templates, custom product and feature pages, and an overall more modern and responsive design.
The Ubiquity Health Inc. website was built using Laravel and PHP. I was responsible for taking the platform from a prototype to a fully functioning website. I created the core functionality of the website, which included dashboard pages, form analyzing tools that integrated AI text extraction, a complete notification system, and more.
